An engineering mockup of the orbital section of a Soyuz spacecraft. The green cover was a thermal blanket that provided protection from the harsh environment of space. This particular artifact is used to interpret the Apollo Soyuz Test Project (ASTP) in the Cosmosphere's ASTP gallery. This Apollo 1-G command module trainer was used at the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project (ASTP) Trainer complex in 1973 at Johnson Space Center. On display in the Cosmosphere's Hall of Space Museum.
